pictures from stong trip. 2 nights spent in the train, 2 days of trekking and playing around in the icy-cold waterfall, and 1 night at the base of the waterfall in tents. it was quite an exciting experience, especially having to carry my huge backpack and climbing up the rocks and forest to reach the campsite. and it took guts to jump into the freezing water and to slide down the waterfall, it was like nature's amusement park.

we were bored at the train station and in the train. it was an 11hour ride, but we spent most of it sleeping in that little double-decker bed, the rest of the time was spent playing cards.

and we went caving!!

and we cooked dinner!! pasta with lots of other additional goodies, not too bad, but it wasn't a good idea to cook marshmallows with the stove. most got burnt.
and we brought so much food that we had to try our best lightening the load cos there were no dustbins at the top, and we had to carry all the trash down..
i think my legs got a lot stronger after that 2 days..

holidays started with programmers retreat to tioman. lots of sun and sea. it was a great escape from the hectic lifestyle here, into simplicity of waking up to the sunrise, enjoying the company of seabreeze and fishes and corals around me.

gosh, i have never enjoyed an elective class this much before. spent the whole 3 hours yesterday singing. i highly recommend GV 17 to all those who love to sing and want to feel like a superstar. how cool (but freaky) is it to sing on stage, in front of the whole class and with the teacher commenting after every singer and asking the rest for comments. really feels like idol contest. yes, that's what the module is mainly about, singing and listening to people sing. well, there's project and exam but project is to research and comment on any singers and exams are mcq!! i think i'm addicted to it. now i have all the excuse to go ktv!!
